RIP Chief Minister Jayalalithaa Dies Passes Away

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa who suffered cardiac arrest yesterday, died on Monday at Chennai Apollo Hospitals.
She was 68 years old.
Jayalalithaa has been receiving treatment at the hospital since September 22,2016

The Apollo hospital announced that Jayalalithaa passed away at 11.30 pm. “It is with indescribable grief that we announce the sad demise of esteemed CM,” read the statement from the management. Her body is expected to be moved to her residence soon.
Tamil Nadu police took over control of Apollo Hospitals.
Three days of mourning has been announced by the state government.
Schools, colleges, government offices and most shops to remain shut in Tamil Nadu.

As per media reports after 1 am, Finance Minister O Panneerselvam, most trusted loyalist of Jayalalilthaa was sworn in as Tamil Nadu’s new Chief Minister at the Governor’s residence.
