Sholay was released on 15 August 1975 in Mumbai after 2 weeks film took speed as it got mouth publicity and became super hit movie.

Sholay went on to earn a still-standing record of 60 golden jubilees (50 consecutive weeks) across India.

It was the first film in the history of Indian cinema to celebrate a silver jubilee (25 consecutive weeks) at over a hundred theaters across India.

At Mumbai's Minerva theater, it was shown continuously for over five years.

Its classic Indian movie and no one can break the records set by the movie Sholay. Sholay is all  time Super hit movie.
