CIA at War tells the story of CIA officers serving on the front lines, in conflicts both current and historic.  While our photographer orchestrated the portrait poses and still-life tableaux, the people and objects are authentic.  An extensive section of curator’s notes in CIA at War tells as much as can be revealed of the history behind the portraits themselves and the objects selected from the CIA Museum and private collections.   Beginning in WW II and continuing with depictions of today's CIA men and women, the images and text open a window onto the dedication and accomplishments of generations of CIA officers....at war and beyond.
