List Names PM Modi appoints ten members to NITI Aayog

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has made the following appointments to the NITI Aayog:

Vice Chairman of NITI
1-Shri Arvind Panagariya, Economist
Teaches at Columbia University in the US
He will be the first Vice Chairman of the body
He holds Ph.D degree in Economics from Princeton University
He has worked as Chief Economist of the Asian Development Bank and a Professor of Economics and Co-director, Center for International Economics, University of Maryland at College Park.
He has also worked for the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, World Trade Organization, and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in various capacities. 
He had earlier been appointed as the vice-chairman of the Rajasthan Chief Minister's Economic Advisory Council.
In 2012, Mr Panagariya was honored with Padma Bhushan.
He is a strong supporter of Narendra Modi's Gujarat model of development.
