Rip Actress Nanda Dies Actress Nanda No more

Veteran Hindi film actress Nanda passed away on Tuesday morning.
She was 75.

Nanda began her film career as a child artist.

Reason of Death – Heart Attack

She breathed her last around 8.30 a.m.

Nanda was the daughter of renowned Marathi actor and director Vinayak D. Karnataki and niece of the legendary filmmaker V. Shantaram.

Nanda's paternal uncle V. Shantaram gave Nanda a big break by casting her in a successful brother-sister saga Toofan Aur Diya (1956).

She got engaged to Manmohan Desai in 1992, who died after falling from the terrace of his apartment in 1994, and since then remained unmarried.

She was a very pretty actress, and a good one too. I was always under the impression, that she was a Punjabi, only now after her dead, I got to know she was a Maharastrian. I have seen most of her pictures and her pictures with Dev Anand were really good.
