Adarsh scam CBI cannot prosecute Ashok Chavan Permission denied by Governor

The CBI believed that Ashok Chavan played a key role in Adarsh Scam by entering into a criminal conspiracy to grant illegal permissions for quid pro quo.

Ashok Chavan specifically was accused of approving additional FSI to Adarsh society in exchange for two flats for his relatives.

Ashok Chavan is one of the accused in Adarsh Scam

Maharashtra Governor K Sankaranarayanan has turned down the Central Bureau of Investigation's plea or request or application  to allow prosecution of former chief minister Ashok Chavan in the Adarsh Cooperative Housing Society scam

Reasons for not granting permission were not given or explained

What happens after this?

Now CBI has no option, CBI has to close the case against former chief minister Ashok Chavan in the Adarsh Cooperative Housing Society scam

This is another example which proves that Indian laws are not equal and Indian laws change as per the position, power and money of a person.
