Excise Department raided Arrested filmmaker Priti Chandriani for possessing liquor for making chocolates at home

On Thursday Mumbai Excise department raided the home of Priti Chandriani for possessing liquor for making chocolates at home. She was detained on Thursday evening and granted bail on Friday.

Excise department seize around 20 bottles of alcohol, they also took away her recipe books.

Excise department raided because of Bombay Prohibition Act.
If you do not know the laws regarding liquor use then you will suffer like Priti Chandriani.

Priti told to NDTV that excise department officials told her that she needed a permit to have so many liquor chocolates at home.

In India majority laws got the loopholes and which give a chance to do corruption.

Nothing is wrong in keeping liquor at home for own consumption in limit.

India needs to change and amend the law.

I am sure there is an upper limit to the number of liquor bottles (or quantity) one can hold. I think such a law should stay, there is no point of hoarding things like liquor as it is not exactly a health drink.
