Coalgate Scam CBI  forms 14 teams Coal Ministry issues notice to companies

Now CBI has started investigation into Coalgate Scam.

Year 2006 to 2009
Coal Blocks – 64

CBI will find out if there was any misuse by the company who got the coal block?

CBI teams will visit the coal blocks and will physically check the reality and what happened with the coal blocks.

If CBI finds any evidence then it will file  a case.


Media has reported that now Coal Ministry has issued show notice to following companies

Monnet Ispat

4.  
Lafarge

5.  
ArcelorMittal

6.  
Reliance Energy

7.  
DB Power

8.  
Lanco

9.  
JSW

10.  
Jindal Steel and Power


Times now reported that Coal Ministry has issued show cause notice to a private company asking it to explain change in ownership without Coal Ministry's approval. The company has now been given 15 days to respond.
