SC issued notices to 6 Ministers 8 IAS officers in illegal passing orders disproportionate" case graft case

The Supreme Court issued notices to 6 Andhra Pradesh ministers and 8 IAS officers who have been accused of passing illegal orders which favored leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, when his father YS Rajasekhar Reddy was the Chief Minister.



Advocate Ponnovolu Sudhakar Reddy filed the petition in the Court and he said that
Though the CBI on the State High Court's directions registered FIR against 71 persons in the "disproportionate" case against Jagan Mohan Reddy, it failed to name the ministers and IAS officers who issued 26 orders to grant special favors to the former CM's son during his father's tenure.

Following are the names of the six Ministers against whom Supreme Court of India issued notices.

1. J Geeta Reddy(Industries)

2. Dharmana Prasada Rao (Revenue)

3. Sabita Reddy(Home)

4. Ponnala Lakshmaiah(Information Technology)

5. Kanna Lakshminarayana(Housing)

6. Mopidevi Venkatarmana Rao(Excise)

Following are the names of 8 IAS officers against whom Supreme Court of India issued notices
1. Manmohan Singh, Principal Secretary Housing

2. Y Srilakshmi, Commissioner Health & Family Welfare

3. M. Samuel, Special Chief Secretary Environment, Forests, Science & Technology

4. Aditya Nath Das, Secretary, Irrigation

5. S V Prasad, Vigilance Commissioner

6. K Ratna Prabha, on deputation to parent cadre Karnataka State as Regional Commissioner Revenue Department, Gulbarga

7. C V S K Sarma, Principal Secretary Horticulture & Sericulture

8. B Sam Bob, Principal Secretary Municipal Administration and Urban Development
