Jai Bhim movie is based on true events revolving around a
1995 habeas corpus petition that human rights lawyer K. Chandru (later a judge)
filed in the Madras High Court
Story Plot –
The movie is based, inspired from True Events, based on a
true incident in 1995, and Suriya plays the role of a lawyer.
The role character of Suriya is based on the real-life of retired Madras
High Court Justice and former senior advocate Chandru, who faced a legal battle
in order to bring justice for an Irular tribe woman named Senggeni.Her husband
Rajakannu, gets arrested due to some unfortunate events and later disappeared
from the police station that night.
In the hope of justice for Rajakannu, she seeks the help of
a lawyer named Chandru who goes beyond conventional lines to unearth the truth
and bring justice to Senggeni and her family.
Review of Movie Jai Bhim –
Jai Bhim revolves around the arrest of three Irular (a
Scheduled Tribe) men in a theft case.
The police file false cases on people from marginalized
sections, as these people do not have any money or connections to save them.
As soon as movie starts, in few seconds the viewers get to
see the shocking reality of Indian society and caste system.
How Adivasi, Tribals get treatment from upper caste people.
Movie is good , everyone needs to see this movie once, and
sure after that you will again watch this movie 2nd time.
The movie moves slowly and later takes speed
Once again, this movie shows and proves that Indian Police
Force needs police reforms as well as Indian Government Lawyers , Pleaders also
need freedom from politicians and political parties.
