A video of an old woman playing Garba is being shared as a video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 97-year old mother Heeraben Modi celebrating Diwali at her home.

Kiran Bedi on Friday posted a video of an old woman, dancing to the tunes of a Gujarati folk song, and called the woman Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Hiraben. The old woman could be seen dancing to the tunes of a Garba song. Praising the woman for her spirit on Diwali, Kiran Bedi, in a tweet, wrote: “Spirit of Deepavali at the tender age of 97. She’s mother of Narendra Modi (Hiraben – 1920) celebrating Diwali at her own home.”
