Bombay High Court says This was an Era of Intolerance Haji Ali Case
The Bombay High Court Tuesday said this was an “era of intolerance” while hearing a plea about the ban on women entering the sanctum sanctorum of Haji Ali Dargah in Mumbai.

Justice said that “This is an era of intolerance. When it comes to religious matters, people become very sensitive. This is why we normally prefer not to interfere,”

The petitioners argued their matter was not necessarily religious but that of “gender parity”.

The court posted the petition for further hearing on December 15
