Ayodhya BJP not to enact law for Ram Temple Reason No Majority

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that lack of majority in the Rajya Sabha has made it difficult for the BJP Government at the Centre to enact law for construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya.

He also said that “The honorable high court has given its verdict on the Ayodhya dispute. The matter is pending at the Supreme Court. All of us should wait for the verdict of the Supreme Court,”

This means that if BJP gets majority they will pass the law to build the Ram Temple in the Ayodhya.

Construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya was one of the promises made by the BJP in its manifesto for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
