CBI filed chargesheet against Ex. Telecom Minister Dayanidhi Maran, Kalanithi Maran.



The Central Bureau of Investigation on Friday filed a chargesheet in the Aircel-Maxis scam against DMK leader and former Telecom Minister Dayanidhi Maran and his brother Kalanithi Maran and six others, including four companies

CBI has named following six as accused in case.
1-Malaysian businessman T. Ananda Krishnan,
2-Ralph Marshall, a top executive
3-Sun Direct TV Pvt Ltd
4-Malaysia’s Maxis Communication Berhad, as accused in the case.
5-South Asia Entertainment Holding Ltd, Mauritius,
6-ASTRO All Asia Network plc


Former telecom secretary J.S. Sharma, who has died, has also been named in the chargesheet

The chargesheet was filed before Special CBI Judge O.P. Saini, who fixed it for consideration on September 11.
