An Italy-born Odissi dancer Ileana Citaristi has made Odisha her home since 1979
Citaristi came to Odisha 34 years ago from Bergamo in Italy to train in Odissi under Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra.
Later, she learnt Mayurbhanj Chau dance.
She is noted dancer and a Padmashree award winner

She teaches Odissi at Bhubaneswar and speaks local language

Non-Hindus are not allowed in Jagannath temple
The Jagannath temple is part of the Char Dham pilgrimages

However, regarding whether or not non-Hindus can climb chariots temple has not fixed any rule
Thus, anyone can climb the chariot.

TOI reported that Ileana Citaristi on Sunday alleged that she was manhandled by two priests of Jagannath temple on the chariot of Lord Jagannath at Puri when she refused to pay them money.

She said the priests roughed her up when she turned down their demand of Rs 1,000 dakshina
When I opposed, they nudged me, slapped me and banged my head,"

When the priests failed to extort money from me, they shouted at me saying I was a foreigner (non-Hindu) and that I cannot climb the chariot.

After lodging the complaint at the temple office, Citaristi sent a separate FIR to Puri SP over fax

All this happens because people who believe in God forgot that God has not appointed anyone as his priest or agent or manager.

No one needs to visit any place to meet God.

Just stay at home, look at your laptop, and think he is your God and you will meet your God.

If you got the image or photo of God or Temple just connect with that and you will be connected with him.

No one needs  to visit anywhere to meet God.

As everyone, is God here including animals.

They are beasts in priests' coat. And moreover they may be rogues in disguise.
