RIP Rituparno Ghosh Director Actor dies Rituparno Ghosh No More
Bengali filmmaker Rituparno Ghosh aka Ritu DA passed away in Kolkata.
He was 49 year old.
Reason of death – Heart Attack
He was suffering from pancreatitis and died of heart attack at 7.30 am as per media reports.
Rituparno Ghosh's body will be kept at the Nandan cinema complex in Kolkata from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM so that his fans can pay their condolences.
The body will be taken for the last rites after 6 PM.
He was born on 31 August 1963 in Kolkata.
He went to Kolkata's South Point School and then studied economics at Jadavpur University
He made his directional debut in 1994 with children's film 'Hirer Angti.
He is known for his movies 'Unishe April' and 'Dahan and Chokher Bali
He explored same-sex relationship in his last release Chitrangada
He won 12 National Awards and various international awards

It was difficult to understand his movies. Manmohan Desai was easy.
I think it is guilt which is driving emotion in most of Bengali movies. I find it easier this way. There is no intention of hurting anyone.
May the brilliant imaginative mind of Rituparno Ghosh get peace.
