11] Mumbai police caught Sanjay Dutt talking to underworld don Chota Shakeel in Year 2000
Following are 21 Reasons No Pardon for Sanjay Dutt
1)
In Bombay serial blast we know that 257, people died, if anyone of children who is 20 years old today goes and murders an elected Politician for their failure to protect Bombay from terror attack will you forgive him for this murder.
2)
If same boy who planned to murder a politician is caught by Police will you pardon him?
3)
If a common is found in possession of such dangerous weapon which were found at Sanjay Dutt house, what will happen with that Common citizen of India?
4)
Case was delayed so what, it is an Indian style of justice, here divorce case also takes 20 years So what, If you are Indian citizen you should accept the Indian judicial working system which means majority times, delayed justice.
5)
People say because of 20 years delay Sanjay Dutt suffered lot

10)
Sanjay Dutt got paid, he received money when he worked in movies like Munnabhai and Khalnayak and many more, With money Sanjay Dutt got respect and love from Indian citizens even if he was the accused in Bombay Blast Case
11)
Just think Sanjay Dutt was acquitted in Tada Case. why the CBI did not challenge Mr. Dutt's acquittal
Baba Mussa Chauhan and Magnum video owner Samir Hingora - who went to Dutt's house to deliver the consignment of arms. Similarly, there were others like Manzoor Ahmed, whose car was used to bring back the weapons from Dutt's residence, and an old woman (Zaibunissa Kazi), who kept the consignment in her house for a few days.
Each of them -
Chauhan,
Hingora,
Ahmed
Kazi -
All were convicted under TADA (Terrorists and Disruptive Activities Prevention Act).
But comedy is that Dutt was not convicted under TADA.
He was only convicted under Arms Act.
12)
Many People think that because of Political Pressure CBI did not Appeal against Sanjay Dutt acquittal.
13)
Just Think this - How is it that all the accused get convicted in one kind of case and only one is tried under a different one?"
Sunil Dutt the father of Sanjay Dutt met the Shiv Sena supreme Balasaheb Thackeray
To save Sanjay Dutt.
Thackeray then told to Sunil Dutt that he will help them.
Sunil Dutt did not contest consecutive elections to keep a promise given to Thackeray.
Sanjay's lawyer Satish Maneshinde in an interview to NDTV 24x7 said that
After the Sena-BJP came to power in Maharashtra in 1995, Thackeray got the government to set up a state-level board to review TADA cases.
The board passed an order in Sanjay's favor, but the TADA court rejected it.
Thackeray then rang up the Congress Prime Minister, P.V. Narasimha Rao, and lobbied for Sanjay, Maneshinde recalled in the interview. He said he and Sanjay were at Thackeray's home when the Sena chief dialled Rao.
Rao promised to include Sanjay's case among those to be sent up before an upcoming central review committee for TADA cases.
The panel recommended bail for the actor. The TADA charges against him were dropped, freeing him from the blast conspiracy charge, and only the Arms Act case for possessing AK rifles remained.
14)
Purpose of Justice is to teach a lesson and set an example before the society that if you do xyz thing this will happen to You
15)
Remember The God of Maharashtra Shivaji – When King Shivaji saw that his elder son is becoming bad he gave him imprisonment in year 1678, The point is that King Shivaji punished everyone for his or her crime.
16)
US - A case the conviction of millionaire Rajat Gupta for insider trading in US people said he was very good but still he got punishment.
Mike Tyson, Lindsay Lohan, Wesley Snipes, Legendary boxing promoter Don King and many more got punishments in US
17)
Story From Mahabharat Epic from India – Four People murder a man who are they? Good Man or Priest, Businessman, Warrior, and Criminal. In this case Yudhisthir gives death punishment to the Priest, good man, says that a priest is learned one, and knows murder is sin. Yet he committed the sin so he must be punished. Whereas criminal does not have proper discretion of good and bad.
18)
Using same Principle that accused suffered 20 years , we need to find all such cases and give pardon to all accused in all cases
19)
Objective of the Justice System is to set the examples by giving punishments.
20)
If Sanjay Dutt is Pardoned what message it will sent to the society.
21)
What is duty of Indian citizen if he knows that XYZ people have brought dangerous weapons and handgranades in his town, To inform Police or to get the one weapon from them for whatever may be the reason

Thanks for all details about Sanjay Dutt's involvement in Mumbai blast...he was in a bad company who wished harm to India..so he has to face the consequences. I think he should happily go to jail and serve his jail time..time flies fast...he can return and become Munnabhai in real life.
I feel anguished when I see respected people of the society defending a criminal and dishonouring our supreme court..what type of society we are making..
that makes sense
Under our law everybody is not equal, that is the moral of the story. He should go to jail, but will he, that is big question
Pardon granted to Dutt would imply India maintains two types of laws one for the common man the other for the well connected with social networking .
There is a board at the Wagah border which says ,'India the largest democracy in the world Welcomes
you,A line should be added to it ,But a petty man who acts as an agent of power and is appointed to topple the govts of opposition parties in states can supersede the supreme court .
Law and order is only for the under privileged, but still if truth speaks he was not indulged in conspiracy he and the like may be condoned.
such a great post sm
All necessary correct information is revealed so heshould be not pardoned or given pardon, consider if common person is guilt will all this consider him to be ---
I wonder why the media is suddenly taking a lenient position on this issue? Why should a former Supreme court judge write a letter requesting to pardon someone? How or why has this issue become a "cause"?
You have raised good points in your post, SM.
