Adarsh Scam Building Constructed without Coastal Regulation Zone and permission from MoEf

On January 8, 2011, judicial commission was set up headed by retired Bombay High Court judge J A Patil.

The judicial commission of inquiry concluded the hearing and is expected to submit its final report to Maharashtra Government next month.

Why delay I do not know?
When it will be submitted, I do not know.

Media reported that government told the judicial commission that the Adarsh building was constructed without Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) clearance or go-ahead from the Union Ministry of Environment and Forest (MoEF).

According to rules, Adarsh building could have been built only up to 46.5 meters and not present 100.7 meters.
