Supreme Court Orders Government Build toilets in schools

Supreme Court Orders Government Build toilets in schools

It is the duty of every elected politician to bring such policies and good laws but we are busy in making laws only which will benefit to party funds and own kids.

The Supreme court passed the order on a PIL seeking its direction to Centre and state governments to provide basic facilities of drinking water and toilets in schools.

Supreme Court of India has ordered directed the center and state governments to provide basic infrastructure, including drinking water and toilets, in all schools within six months.

A bench headed by Justice K.S. Radhakrishnan fixed the time limit and asked the governments to take steps to provide the basic facilities in schools across the country.

The court had also observed that not providing the infrastructure was a violation of the right to free and compulsory education of children guaranteed under Article 21-A of the Constitution.

On October 18, 2011
last year, the Supreme Court had directed all states and union territories to build toilets, particularly for girls, in all government schools.

After that what happened, how many toilets were constructed by the schools or government, what government did I think no one has reported it, may be government did nothing I do not know?

Problem is Supreme Court of India needs to take contempt of court very seriously in India like Pakistan Supreme Court and should send some politicians in jail or declare them as culprit and accused only then Politicians will change their methods.

Do you think in 6 months Government and Politicians will build toilets in schools?
