Coalgate Scam CBI registered cases against 5 companies including Congress MP Vijay Darda in one of the FIR

CBI filed cases against five companies for alleged criminal conspiracy to get coal blocks by fudging their net worth figures and misrepresentation of facts and named Congress MP Vijay Darda in one of the FIRs.

Following are the names of 5 companies against whom cases are filed by CBI.

1)  
JLD Yavatmal Energy Limited, in which Darda was one of the Directors

2)  
JAS Infrastructure Capital Private Limited

3)  
AMR Iron and Steel

4)    Navbharat Power Private Limited

5)  
Vini Iron and Steel Udyog Limited--with their 20 directors and unknown government officials

Media reported that JLD Yavatmal Energy Limited got Fatehpur East Coal Block in Chhattisgarh as part of the alleged criminal conspiracy by misrepresentation facts on the eligibility conditions.

The CBI named Maharashtra education minister Rajendra Darda, his elder brother and Congress Rajya Sabha member Vijay Darda, and Vijay’s son Devendra as accused in one of its five FIRs in the coal scam.
CMD of Nagpur-based Abhijit Group Manoj Jayaswal all have been charged with criminal conspiracy and cheating.

Media reported that Vini Iron is being investigated for links with former tainted Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda.
