EBAY Bans sale of Reiki, Tarot Magical Products Magic Spells, Potions, and Other Witchcraft

EBay announced that it will ban all sales of magic potions, charms, and spells effective August 30.

The last date to list in these eliminated categories will be August 30, 2012 and sellers will no longer be able to sell these items on eBay.

Sellers who continue to try to list prohibited inventory will risk having their items removed and could have their accounts suspended or removed.

Following is the list of products, which are banned by Ebay.

Why are these categories being discontinued?
Ebay wrote following on the site
Transactions in these categories often result in issues between the buyer and seller that are difficult to resolve.
To help build confidence in the marketplace for both buyers and sellers, eBay is discontinuing these categories and including the items on the list of prohibited items.

Usha, August 17, 2012: In so many areas ban is being imposed, now it is Ebay turn. Some area ban is unnecessary like healing sessions, Reiki, digital arts, recipes, advice, blessings.
