Ruchika Girhotra family withdraws charges against Ex DGP SPS Rathore

Ruchika Girhotra family withdraws charges against Ex Haryana director general of police (DGP) SPS Rathore

In 1990, 14-year-old Ruchika was allegedly molested by Rathore.
After she registered a complaint against Rathore, the Girhotra family was allegedly harassed by the Haryana police.
As a result Ruchika  committed suicide.

19 Years the case is still going on –
69-year-old Rathore is currently out on bail after spending around six months in jail serving a sentence of 18 months in the main case relating to the molestation charge.

He has appealed against the sentence in the molestation case.

Ruchika Girhotra, the minor girl who allegedly committed suicide after molestation by former Haryana director general of police (DGP) SPS Rathore.

Now the  family of Ruchika Girhotra has raised no objection to CBI's closure report dropping torture charges against former Haryana director general of police (DGP) SPS Rathore.

CBI in its report said that there's no evidence to prove that

1.    Ruchika' brother Ashu Girhotra was tortured while in police custody - Ashu had alleged that a false case of auto theft was registered against him after the molestation incident at the behest of Rathore, who was then a IG rank officer, and the Haryana police had tortured him. However, the CBI in its report had maintained that there was no evidence to back the charge.

2.    that the signatures of her father, S C Girhotra, had been forged on the victim's post-mortem report

Appearing before the Panchkula court, S C Girhotra and his son Ashu raised no objection to the CBI move.

This led to the CBI court in Panchkula accepting the report on Friday, giving significant relief to Rathore.

Ruchika’s friend Aradhana was the eyewitness to the molestation. Aradhana’s parents Anand Prakash and his wife Madhu led the fight for justice and attended over 400 proceedings in the case.

Anand told to HT that “The CBI is 100% with Rathore. This is a victory of the corrupt system.”

After this
Do you think now  Rathore will win the molestation case  and he will prove himself not guilty.
