I thought military personnel were paid better. Maybe they were included because of their risky jobs? I somehow think that a software engineer is overly rated.

sm, I am surprised to know that software engineer job is rated as NO.1. It is true based on money they get paid but after recession many software jobs are highly stressful..one can rarely complain...they work several hours without over time..it was stopped after 2001 job fall..and hiring is not easy..one need to be very competitive.
I wonder why they missed pharmacists and nursing job?

It's sad that a soldier is one of the worst jobs.. They risk their lives and only get paid so little.

hi sm, that rating is not applicable to our country. definitely a journalist earn much more than a meter reader.
a journalist i s a university graduate. a meter reader is a school dropout. ha ha
have a nice day
