Iceland Ex PM Geir Haarde to face Trial for Negligence Country suffered Losses

Iceland Former Prime Minister Geir Haarde to face Trial in Special Court for Negligence Country suffered Losses

Year 2008 – Autumn
Mr. Haarde led the Independence Party government in year 2008.
Iceland was plunged into a deep recession following the collapse of its three banks, including Icesave's parent company Landsbanki.

Former Prime Minister Geir Haarde is accused of being negligent because he had not ensured financial safeguards were in place.

The proceedings will be held at the Landsdomur court, a special body to try cabinet ministers, which has never before heard a case.

In true democracy the Prime Minister is responsible for all the actions done by his ministers.
Actions which are done in hiding or in open Prime Minister is always responsible.

He is the servant of County and he is head of Servants.
Country has appointed him to see that nation makes progress, but he can not control the corruption in his country and his ministers he is and only he is responsible for the corruption.

If Prime Minister is found negligent in his duties
Then always demand Punishment = Until Death in Jail No Pardon even if God Requests

Today what happens is that a Political party chooses the Honest Person as a Prime Minister , and others are not honest, they tell him you sit on the Chair of Prime Minister and sit do what we order and for our corruption you will not face liability.

You are honest be honest and obey us that is not honest politicians.

Demand Accountability for the Prime Minister.

Demand law which will make Prime Minister responsible for all the actions of his Ministers as Prime Minister got the right to appoint them and fire them so Prime Minister is responsible for his actions also.

He is directly or indirectly responsible for the actions of his cabinet ministers whom he appoints.

The very idea why certain countries appoint straight-forward prime ministers is the fact that they cannot be prosecuted. I think the example set by Iceland is excellent. In India, Bank managers are liable for any loans they sanctioned even if they are transferred to another branch. But, the people in highest positions are not! Strange.
