Bharat Ratna now legally for Sachin Tendulkar Govt makes sportsmen eligible to receive Bharat Ratna

Before this article I wrote that why Sachin Tendulkar is not eligible legally to get the Bharat Ratna.

Now here is the good news for fans of Sachin Tendulkar or chess champ Anand or hockey champ Dhyan Chand.

Now government of India has made changes added additional eligibility that is now
Excellence in all fields of human endeavour is the new eligibility norm.

The Bharat Ratna category has been broadened and excellence in all fields of human endeavour is the new eligibility norm.

The Prime Minister's Office has accepted the Ministry of Home Affairs' recommendation of broad basing the Bharat Ratna category.

As per the demands of Politicians PMO approved above eligibility.

No "formal recommendation" for this is necessary.

Sachin Tendulkar deserves Bharat Ratna. But at a later stage. Right now he is playing well.
It is amazing how laws/rules are made. I always thought there was a logic behind it. But now it is clear. Laws are made for one individual.

Sachin Tendulkar is a good cricket player. He plays for money. Did he do anything good for the people or country? Bhrarat Ratna is a prestigious award/highest award in our country.

I think it is logical if it is given to Olympic gold medalists. They make us/our country proud. But cricket player...I don't agree.

Honestly, I think you’re focusing too much on the award itself and not enough on what Sachin actually represents. In India, it’s not just about Bharat Ratna, it’s about influence, discipline, and consistency over decades. Recognition is just a formality at that point. Even today, competition and performance matter in different areas, like online platforms. If you look at MelBet APK download, it’s an app where users in India engage in sports betting and casino games with real-time odds and fast payments. That same competitive mindset exists there too. Your post needed more depth beyond just the legal change.

I think you’re focusing too much on the award itself and not enough on Sachin’s actual impact. In India, his influence goes way beyond titles like Bharat Ratna. It’s about discipline, consistency, and inspiring generations. Recognition came late, but his legacy was already massive. Even today, that competitive mindset is visible in different spaces, not just cricket. Platforms like jeetwin india show how people stay connected to sports through live betting, real-time odds, and interactive features alongside casino games. That’s how engagement evolved. Your post feels too centered on policy and not enough on cultural impact, honestly.
