Congress Accepted Demand of JPC to investigate 2G scam –
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh announced the formation of a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to investigate the multi-crore 2G spectrum scam
The Government is fully cooperating with the investigations into the 2G scam. The Government also agrees to setting up of JPC," said Singh
Requesting Speaker Meira Kumar to proceed with the formation of the JPC, the Prime Minister said that a formal motion will be moved soon.
The motion for the formation of the JPC will be moved in the Lok Sabha on February 24
Four hours have been set aside for a debate on JPC formation after the motion is moved.
Now the question is what if A Raja wants to participate in this debate?
Terms of Reference of JPC are not fix yet but soon the terms will be fixed.
This is the victory of Honesty and Democracy.

Thats an informative post, and the opposition will be happy, I guess!
i dont think the atmosphere in parliament is going to cool down anytime soon!!
But hope every party does some strategic decision instead of physical attempts to control the LS
I don't where will JPC reach in terms of Justice , but there has been a lot of time wasted by congress or where they trying close all the witness before appointing the JPC , so major names don't reflect
They have wasted too much time, knowing very well that they cannot keep quiet and get away with it.
Will anything come out as a result of JPC formation?
