Know Everything about Harit or Braj or Pashchim Pradesh -

Harit Pradesh will be created out of Uttar Pradesh.
Utter Pradesh is very big state. Uttar Pradesh has a population of over 17 crore
It will be good if Uttar Pradesh is divided into separate 4 or 3 states.
Harit Pradesh, Poorvanchal, Bundelkhand and Madhya Uttar Pradesh
If you will compare and try to find out you will come to know there are many nations which are smaller than Uttar Pradesh and had made the 1000 times more progress than Uttar Pradesh or even complete India.
For development big states are not good.
Full development is possible with small states only exceptions are there.
Harit Pradesh is a proposed new state of India comprising the western parts of Uttar Pradesh state.
To increase the speed of the development it is necessary to create new state Harit Pradesh.
Braj Pradesh and Pashchim Prades are alternative names that have been proposed
The proposed state would include 22 districts in six divisions –
Meerut, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Agra and Aligarh.
It shares borders with the current states of Uttarakhand, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh
Ajit Singh and Mayawati both support the creation of new state.
Ajit Singh is the leader of Rashtriya Lok Dal's (RLD).
Rashtriya Lok Dal's (RLD) national secretary Shahid Siddiqui said that party would contest in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls on its own supporting the issue of separate Harit Pradesh.
Mayawati also supported the formation of Harit Pradesh in December, 2009.
Chief Minister Mayawati wrote a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh urging him to grant clearance for the creation of two more states, Bundelkhand and Harit Pradesh, out of an unmanageable Uttar Pradesh,"
In 2007 also Mayawati wrote a letter to Prime Minister regarding same cause.
In his 1955 critique of the proposed States Reorganisation Act, Thoughts on Linguistic States, B. R. Ambedkar had advocated the division of Uttar Pradesh into three states
Eastern, Central and Western, with capitals at Meerut, Kanpur and Allahabad respectively
In 1972, fourteen MLAs in the Uttar Pradesh state assembly moved an unsuccessful resolution to divide the state into three units (Braj Pradesh, Awadh Pradesh and Purbi Pradesh).
Support creation of Harit Pradesh – Be intelligent

CM Mayawati is planning to create four new states out of the country's largest state which, with its 75 districts,
As per the Mayawati Government Plan
1. the eastern part of the state with 32 districts will form a new state of Poorvanchal
2. the 22 western districts will be grouped together as Harit Pradesh
3. Bundelkhand will take seven districts
4. remaining 14, all in central UP, will comprise the fourth
This is very good move by CM Mayawati who is thinking about the future of UP.

Makes no sense to me to create a new state. More politicians and more corruption on the way.
yes with A on this one, thats what we do best DIVIDE and Conquer , it seems the big politicians have had enough of fighting so they ahve decided to have there own areas , hence 4 parts for each party to rule and MAKE moneyyyy ... more leaders more corruption more problems .. more headache for the common man...
Bikram's
Hmm easy to manage true. But as A said more corruption!
vote for bikram comment:)

The reasoning that smaller states are managed well is not always true! And if you go by area, Rajasthan, MP, AP, Maharashtra are larger but are still managed. If we keep dividing states and increasing ministers, I guess that will become more unmanageable than the current scenario!!

I dont think that size of the sate has anything to do with development.its the governance , politicians who are responsible.Making more states will only increase the no of corrupt politicians nothing more.
I totally agree with what Bikram has said.
It is indeed a very good idea that states are divided into smaller states for better administration.
I support the creation of Harit Pradesh and integration with NCR.
Well they just want to divide India and take over the power in their hands, the politicians...

there may be number of good reasons to justify creation of a new state, but facts remain the same, what did the other newly created states got, after getting separated from the parent state??? its only the politicians who cut their crop in the name of public welfar.....
IRFANUDDIN,,
thanks.
Please think which is the honest party in India ?
Small state - small budget - small corruption - big fight between corrupt people for more share as amount is small.
Big state, big scam, big money, all corrupt become happy and unite as everyone gets big cake for fun and enjoyment.
What is the reason in schools they do not want more than 25 students in one class room ?
why there are different classrooms ?
why not teach all the 400 boys of one class in one big hall ?
it will save lot of money, teachers salary also ?
