The Maharashtra Cabinet has recommended the removal of Ramanand Tiwari as the state's Information Commissioner. The Cabinet has sent the recommendation to Governor.

Tiwari was in charge of the Urban Development Department when the building got clearance. His son too has a flat in the society.



Now what will happen?
Governor will report to Supreme Court, and then if Supreme Court finds the Tiwari a guilty person only then Tiwari will be removed from his post.
This is very difficult process and now let’s sees how many days or weeks or months or years this action will be taken.
The process is very simple and easy if there is a will to act.

As a chief of Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority Ratnakar Gaekwad appear to have granted the occupation certificate to Adarsh society despite strong objections from the Indian navy.

Chief secretary Ratnakar Gaekwad maintains that the occupation certificate was granted after obtaining approvals from all the relevant agencies.

In January 2009 it was Gaekwad who sought the transfer of rights to grant occupancy certificates from the BMC.

The then BMC commissioner Jairaj Phatak whose son has a flat in Adarsh, readily agreed to give this right to MMRDA following which Gaekwad issued the occupation certificate.

Don’t you think this action was taken for self gain?

The best option is file the police complaint against everyone as early as possible.
Otherwise the big rich people who are holding important government post and offices may hide or destroy the evidence.
