Railways spent Rs. 2 Crore on Publicity of Railway Projects

Railways spent Rs. 2 Crore on Publicity of Railway Projects
DNA reported that for inauguration and foundation stone laying of 68 railway projects by various railway ministers, the ministry has spent over two crores in the last four years

Most of projects are not completed, show dismal progress since their launch.

29 flagging off and foundation stone laying ceremonies accounting for about more than half of the total spend at Rs1.11 crore were done during Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee’s regime as railway minister between May 2009 and May 2011.

This happens in every department, the projects are not completed on time, the price, and cost of the project keeps increasing and corruption in such projects keep increasing.

Indian needs to fix the accountability and needs to bring a new law for this.

This is nothing when compared to the escalation of project costs and losses due to delays.
