Storyline of the movie Sadma –  Review of the movie Sadma or Moondram Pirai
 
Sadma means Shock
In the movie Nehalata Malhotra (Sridevi) meets an accident while driving her car.
The accident causes head injury and result is that she forgets everything and becomes a six year old girl trapped in a body of young beautiful lady.
She leaves the hospital unattended and ends up in a brothel.

she is rescued by the Somu (Kamal Hassan) who is naive, shy and single school teacher, from the brothel and brings her at his home in the mountains.
Somu start to take care of her and slowly falls in love with her.
He tries hard to cure Laxmi

Meanwhile Nehalata Malhotra or Laxmi’s parents are looking for her and report to the police.
Police start the search, in the end Laxmi remembers all the past and forgets her stay with Somu.
Laxmi leaves that place with her parents to railway station to catch a train to go to Bombay.

When Somu comes to know about this, He starts running to the railway station for Laxmi and gets hurt himself. At last he finds Laxmi but she doesn’t recognize him and goes away without a single thought.
