On December 8, 1971, Pakistani aircraft dropped 14 Napalm bombs on the Bhuj airstrip, rendering it unusable for fighter jets.
This led to the urgent need for reconstruction.
The film is based on a real incident during the 1971 Indo-Pak war, where 300 women from Madhapar village helped reconstruct the Bhuj airstrip after it was bombed by Pakistani jets.
