Know electricity rates per unit across major Indian states in 2025

Electricity rates in India vary across states due to differences in production costs, state policies, and subsidies.

Below is an overview of per-unit electricity charges for domestic consumers in select Indian states based on available data, along with details on states offering free electricity schemes, including up to 200 units.

Per-Unit Electricity Charges in Indian States (2025)
