On Wednesday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar resigned as the Bihar chief minister.

Reason for Resigning - irreconcilable differences with ally RJD on the issue of corruption charges against his deputy Tejashwi Yadav.

“In the circumstances that prevail in Bihar, it became difficult to run the grand alliance government,” Kumar told reporters outside Raj Bhavan after submitting his resignation to Governor Keshri Nath Tripathi.

The Congress is the third party in the Mahagathbandan alliance in Bihar along with the Janata Dal-United and the Rashtriya Janata Dal.

Reacting to the news of Nitish Kumar resignation, Randeep Surjewala of the Congress said, "We are deeply disappointed by the news of Nitish Kumar's resignation. Mahagathbandhan was given a five-year mandate by people of Bihar. We shall continue to strive the mandate given is fully respected."

Its good thing that Nitish Kumar resigned if he is really accused in the murder and arms case.

Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar both defeated BJP but now they are fighting with each other because of intelligent politics played by BJP.

Now this will also expose Nitish Kumar is he with the secular friends or he has join hands with religious party BJP.

Only option and best option is that they should choose new Chief Minister keeping Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav outside of the government.
