California Produced excess solar energy pays other states to take electricity

In month of March California produced so much solar power that it paid Arizona to take excess electricity its residents weren’t using to avoid overloading its own power lines.

Same thing happened in January and February also.

Solar and wind power production was curtailed a relatively small amount about 3% in the first quarter of 2017 but that’s more than double the same period last year. And the surge in solar power could push the number even higher in the future.

Why California is not able to use 100% solar energy, solar electricity?
Reason is simple to avoid overloading of its own power lines.

Why California is producing so much electricity using Solar power?
Example of perfect good law –
The California Legislature has mandated that one-half of the state’s electricity come from renewable sources by 2030; today it’s about one-fourth. That goal once was considered wildly optimistic. But solar panels have become much more efficient and less expensive. So solar power is now cheaper than most other types of electricity.

Now I think California should make a law that 100% electricity should come from solar energy

Solar and Wind Energy is superior than Nuclear energy and fossil fuel plants
Superior means its environment friendly.

Hope Indian politicians will learn something from state of California

World is moving towards Solar and Wind and India is embracing nuclear energy.
