Rahul Dravid says no to free honorary doctorate offered to him

The former India captain Rahul Dravid, the Indian Wall who hails from Karnataka, was nominated for an honorary doctorate degree by the Bangalore University. But Dravid declined it saying he wants to earn it through research

Rahul Dravid played 164 Tests and 344 ODIs scoring 13288 and 10889 runs respectively.
But he was dependable whenever Team required he gave what was required.
Dravid, earned the moniker of ‘The Wall’ for his reliability when it came to saving the Indian team from a precarious situation

Hope Indian Politicians and Bollywood Actors will learn something from Rahul Dravid.

One has to burn his blood day and nights to get a doctorate but someone just get that by nomination.

Universities should stop giving such free doctorate degrees to Politicians, Film Stars and Rich people.

I do not remember any University has ever given a Doctorate to some poor man, lower class man like Auto Driver who returns a bag full of money.

Doctorate and Politics what is there relation Doctorate and Film Stars what is relation of Doctorate and movies if they can get it then why cannot Auto Driver be given a doctorate.

Majority times Rich People give donation to Universities and later when times come Universities reward them with degree of Doctorate etc.
Because of such degrees, the real degree losses its respect which someone earns after doing research and hard work.

Nobel way shown by Rahul Dravid to everyone who dreams of getting doctorate without doing hard work.
