RIP Hollywood Star Gene Wilder Dies the Young Frankenstein

Hollywood Legend Star Gene Wilder comic actor, who was twice Oscar nominated, for his role in “The Producers” and for co-penning “Young Frankenstein” with Mel Brooks, who regularly stole the show in such comedic gems as “The Producers,” “Blazing Saddles,” “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” and “Stir Crazy,” died Monday at his home in Stamford, Conn.
His nephew Jordan Walker-Pearlman said he died of complications from Alzheimer’s disease. He was 83.

He had been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 1989.

Wilder was a legend in Hollywood. He was married to Gilda Radner from 1984 until she passed away in 1989.  He married again in 1991 to Karen Boyer.

Wilder is survived by a daughter, Katharine -- whom he adopted in 1967 when he married her mother Mary Joan Schute.
