RIP Actress Pratyusha Banerjee of Balika Vadhu commits suicide

Television Actress Pratyusha Banerjee, who played Anandi in television series Balika Vadhu, has committed suicide
She was admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Ambani Hospital where she breathed her last. The hospital informed the police.

She started her career with Balika Vadhu as Anandi
She is popularly known as Anandi She was also a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 and was one of the participants of Bigg Boss 7.
She has worked in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya (TV series) in 2014 and was last seen in Hum Hain Na as the main female lead. Of late, she was contesting in Power Couple with beau Rahul. She committed suicide on April 1, 2016

As per media reports Pratyusha hanged herself from a fan at her Kandivli residence but was found and taken to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital where she succumbed.
