Historic Madras High Court to live telecast court proceeding

Historic Madras High Court to live telecast court proceeding
Madras High Court has decided to to live telecast the entire contempt proceeding, scheduled to begin by 2.15 pm in a big monitor, placed near the media parking area of the High Court premises.
The court proceeding will also be recorded through two cameras placed inside the court hall.

It’s a historical decision by the Madras Court.

Same way Supreme Court and all other High Court should live telecast the hearing of Public Interest Litigation cases on You tube or any other government site.

I think it needs to be recorded, telecasting is also a good idea, esp. for the media to follow important proceedings. Good move.

People can know what is happening inside the Court. A very good step.
