President Barack Obama India visit expenses RTI query rejected by Government

Mumbai
activist Anil Galgali,  filed the query with the Ministry of External Affairs  [MEA] had sought details of the total expenses incurred by the Indian government on hosting the US President and the American contingent that accompanied him in January, 2015.

Galgali also sought information on the accommodation provided to the dignitaries and security personnel of Obama, besides details of the number of police personnel deployed and security arrangements made during his visit.

Responding to above query MEA informed that they cannot provide such information they rejected the application on the ground that such information is sensitive and may affect bilateral relations with the foreign country.

Where is transparency?

AAP or Congress or BJP  nothing is going to change in India
India needs now another political party
