Below is the list of different foods banned in different parts of India.

Gujarat –
Palitana –
Pilgrimage centre for Jains, has declared the entire town a 'vegetarian only' zone by banning the sale of meat, fish and eggs!

What was the reason to declare town as a fully vegetarian town –
June 2014-
Nearly 200 Jain monks went on a hunger strike
Threatening to fast unto death for four days, demanding that non-vegetarian food should not be permitted for sale in the pilgrim town, after which the ban was implemented.

2-
Schools in states like Punjab and various colleges in Rajasthan have prohibited selling of foods like pizzas, burgers and aerated drinks, not just within their premises but also in their surroundings.

In July 2014, the government decided to ban the import of popular French delicacy
 Foie gras, usually eaten as pate or mousse

March 2015 –
The Haryana Assembly passed a bill under which cow slaughter and the sale of beef have been banned in the state.
A person found guilty of cow slaughter can get rigorous imprisonment not less than three years, which may extend upto 10 years along with a fine ranging from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1 lakh.

Any person who exports cows for slaughter either directly or through somebody can get rigorous imprisonment not less than three years which may extend upto seven years, along with a fine from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 70,000.

The sale of beef will be completely banned in the state; the offence will be punishable with rigorous imprisonment for not less than three years and upto five years with fine of upto Rs. 50,000.

Can the government dare to make such a law regarding black money and corruption that is the main question?

Helping to create or make black money?
Helping in transactions of bribes and corruption?

No for black money they will bring an amnesty scheme and will never let us know the names of criminals?

If a food item is unhealthy, I think there is nothing wrong in banning it.
