Censor Board of India Bans movie Unfreedom on topic of LGBT

Media reported that Censor Board of India, which is controlled by BJP government directly or indirectly has banned a movie, film Unfreedom which explores the topic of homosexuality.

Plot of the story – Lesbian Love Story
The story of a young girl who resists getting into a forced arranged marriage to spend her life with her lesbian partner
The film also has a parallel story of a liberal Muslim who is kidnapped by a terrorist.

As per media reports Following the Censor Board's refusal, the director says he appealed to the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal but to no avail.

Just a guess why Censor Board has banned the movie?

Banning by Censor Board is just damaging the image of BJP and indirectly it sends the message that movie is not passed only because the masters will like that.

To keep the chair, and to keep their job Censor board has banned the movie

Soon India will get new name – The land of Bans, The country of Bans
