Skype to Block Local Mobile Landline Calls from India

Skype is owned by Microsoft

In a statement Microsoft Skype announced that

As of November 10, 2014 Skype will end support for calling within India, meaning calls to mobiles and landlines from Skype within India will no longer be available,"

Microsoft said: "users in India can still make free Skype-to-Skype calls worldwide, international calls to mobiles and landlines and users outside the country can call mobiles and landlines in India."

Skype Wi-Fi and SMS messages are also available to users in India.

Internet-based calling service Skype will stop delivering calls on landline and mobile phones in India from November 10

Skype will refund the funds to customers who get affected because of above announcement
