Supreme Court Verdict National Tax Tribunal Act unconstitutional

National Tax Tribunal Act was passed in year 2005

National Tax Tribunal Act took away the jurisdiction of High Court relating to tax-related cases

In year 2006 petition was filed against the NTT challenging the constitutional validity of NTT contending that there was a grave danger that judiciary will be substituted by a host of quasi-judicial tribunals which function as departments of various ministries.

Today Supreme Court of India declared National Tax Tribunal Act Unconstitutional Law.
