Goa MLA Lavoo Mamledar proposes Bikini Beach concept in Goa

Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party MLA Lavoo Mamledar has proposed the concept of bikni beach in Goa which will charge an entry fee.

Mamledar said, "A beach labelled as bikini beach could be created, if we really feel that bikinis will promote tourism in Goa.
There can be an enclosure and an entry fee of Rs 1,000 to 2,000 could be levied.
This will not only increase tourism prospects but also generate revenue."

The Congress party and women's right activists opposed the concept

The idea is good but it should not be called as Bikini Beach

Can be called as a Freedom Beach for Humans

Which will generate revenue

Will stop harassment of Females on the beach

Will reduce the use of drugs on the beach and will reduce the rape incidents on the beach

The reason is simple the registry of visitors will be maintained by beach safety force

Freedom beach has nothing to do with female dignity or male dignity

Female dignity is lost when families take the dowary

Female dignity is lost when families murder the girl child

That is shameful act not the female body or nudity or bikini
