Fodder ScamLalu Prasad Yadav Jagdish Sharma disqualified from Lok Sabha

Lalu Prasad Yadav Jagdish Sharma disqualified from Lok Sabha

RJD chief Lalu Prasad and JD (U) leader Jagdish Sharma have been disqualified as Lok Sabha members

Reason for disqualification = their conviction in the fodder scam.
Lalu Prasad, convicted in the fodder scam, was sentenced to five years in prison and imposed with a fine of Rs. 25 lakh. He was till now an MP from Saran in Bihar.

Sharma was sentenced to four years imprisonment in the case.
He represented Jahanabad in Bihar.

Lalu Prasad stands disqualified for a total of 11 years — five years of jail term and six years subsequent to his release,

Jagdish Sharma stands disqualified for ten years —
Four years in jail and six more years after that as per electoral laws.

But there is possibility that once the lower house elections 2014, are over, new government will immediately   bring the new law  , amendment which will struck down, cancel the Supreme Court judgement , a Historical Judgment

A amendment which will save Lalu and Sharma and all future generations of politicians who will carry on the corruption methods of their fathers.

All political parties supported the amendment and later on because of 2014 elections they postponed it, cancelled it
