2G accused M K Kanimozhi wins Rajya Sabha election upper house election

DMK Chief Karunanidhi's daughter M K Kanimozhi current present term in the upper house
ends next month.

In last sixty years, India failed to make good laws, which can forbid accused people contesting elections.

M K Kanimozhi has won Rajya Sabha elections defeating rival DMDK's Mr. Ilangovan.

I am not aware that DMDK's Mr. Ilangovan is facing any criminal charges or not.

Required No. of Votes = 34
DMK got 23 votes
Congress supported DMK and she got the support of 5 MLAs of Congress Party
DMK also got 2 votes each from the Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam and Puthiya Tamizhagam, taking the tally to 32.
However, Ms Kanimozhi got only 31 votes

"Satyameva Jayate" is our slogan and i believe in it. History will say justice has been done partially.
Congratulations, Kanimozhi.
