Osho No Samadhi Read Gift Application of Osho International Foundation (OIF) and Darshan Trust Delhi

Osho No Samadhi Read Gift Application of Osho International Foundation (OIF) and Darshan Trust Delhi

Osho died in Year 1990.

His ashes were buried in his bedroom at his Chuang Tzu residence, to create his Samadhi (final resting place) inside the Koregaon Park premises of the Osho Commune.
For few Osho members they respect lot to that particular area.
Its normal to respect such area where once beloved has presence.

But the administrators of the commune and the OIF trustees have been trying to erase all references to the Samadhi.

Now OIF trustees rejected Samadhi existence on the premises of the Commune in an affidavit before the Charity Commissioner (Mumbai).

Trustees of Osho International Foundation have applied to the office of the Charity Commissioner, Mumbai for a transfer of a portion of the trust premises, by way of a gift, to a separate trust situated in New Delhi.

The Osho Commune, renamed as the Osho International Meditation Resort after his death, is located at Koregaon Park and is part of other Osho properties spread on 25-30 acres of land and controlled by the OIF.

Group of individual Osho disciples (sannyasins and friends) aiming to bring Osho and his work into an ‘Open Source’ forum have filed an application objecting to the gift application.

Below is the copy of Gift application of the OIF.
