Red Corner notice to arrest Pervez Musharraf

an anti-terrorism court conducting the trial of seven persons accused of involvement in the in the Benazir Bhutto assassination case declared former president Pervez Musharraf
a "proclaimed offender" or fugitive and directed authorities to seize Musharraf's assets and to freeze his bank accounts.

Media has reported that Yesterday The Federal Investigation Agency sent the request to the Director of Interpol in Pakistan.

Pakistani authorities have sent a formal request to Interpol to issue a Red Corner Notice for former military ruler Pervez Musharraf, currently living outside Pakistan.

FIA Special Prosecutor Mohammad Azhar Chaudhry confirmed to the media that the process to bring Musharraf back to Pakistan had begun.

FIA's joint investigation team probing the assassination had handed over an application for the Red Corner Notice to Interpol's representative in Pakistan.

After scrutinizing the application, the Interpol representative will forward it to Interpol headquarters in France.

Once the red corner notice is issued then former President Musharraf can be detained anywhere in the world and brought back to Pakistan so that he can be produced in court.

Where former president Pervez Musharraf is staying now?
In which country president Pervez Musharraf is residing now?
Location of President Pervez Musharraf?

Currently former President Pervez Musharraf may be staying in UK or Dubai or any other country with which Pakistan does not extradition treaty.

Suppose currently now former President Pervez Musharraf is staying in UK and
Red corner notice gets issued what will happen in this case?

Does UK police will arrest and handover the former President to Pakistan?

former President Pervez Musharraf has not sought asylum from the British government, but ‘he is staying as an honorable guest who is respecting the British laws faithfully.

No UK will not handover former President Pervez Musharraf to Pakistan very easily.

Pakistan do not have extradition treaty with UK.
2ND Normally UK does not handover wanted criminals to countries where
Death penalty is given.
3rd if wanted person is living in UK but he is very honest in UK and follows the laws of UK then also UK will not handover him.

If Pakistan government requests to UK to handover former President Musharraf to Pakistan that will be decided by the British Court.
