CWG – CBI registered case 21 raids including offices of project contractor BE Bilimoria & Co Ltd

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered a new case in Commonwealth Games (CWG) scam.
The new case has been registered in connection with construction of a badminton and squash stadium at the Siri Fort Complex in connection with the CWG scam that's being estimated at RS 36 crore.
The CBI told that squash and badminton courts were meant to be built for 118 crores, but the contract was finally awarded for 154 crores.
Currently Investigating officers are studying the alleged complicity of officials of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and the contractor they hired, B.E.Billimoria Co. Ltd.
This is 15th FIR in connection with common wealth games scam. After the FIR was registered. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted raids at 21 locations in Delhi and Mumbai.
CBI team also raided the offices of project contractor BE Bilimoria & Co Ltd
Punishment for corruption – Demand death punishment or 1000 years of jail without bail and pardon.
