While rejecting bail petition of Kanimozi and Sharad Kumar Judge OP Saini ordered their "forthwith" arrest and directed the duo to appear before it at 10 am on Saturday. Kanimozhi and Kumar will be lodged in Delhi's Tihar jail.
Judge Saini observed that Bail applications are without merit and the same are dismissed.

Kanimozhi will be staying with Madhuri Gupta (former Indian High Commission in Islamabad official who has been arrested on charges spying), pimp Sonu Punjaban and Municipal Council of Delhi councilor Sharda Jain (in jail for murder) in Tihar Jail No.6
R N Sharma deputy inspector general for prisons, told IANS that DMK MP Kanimozhi, and former Tamil Nadu chief minister M. Karunanidhi's daughter is in jail number 6, which is women's cell, and ward number 8. She is kept in a separate cell with attached toilet. The cell has television, fans and light. She can have south Indian food.
As per rules she will be allowed to meet relatives twice a week.

Sharad Kumar will be staying in jail with Commonwealth Games scam accused Suresh Kalmadi, Surjeet Lal and ASG Prasad.
The DMK MP Kanimozi and Sharad Kumar may file bail application in Delhi High Court for bail.
Where is the equality of law?
Do you think poor criminals who are arrested for stealing something for the stomach get such facilities?
Do you think the females who sell their bodies for the stomach get such facilities in Jail?
In Indian Jails all the rich people get such type of VIP treatment.
Majority Indians who are not in Jail but who are at home also do not enjoy the facility of attach toilet or separate TV.

We have enough money,efforts,resources to preserve-life of infiltrating terrorists. Surely,Kanimozhi deserves at least a TV,Fan,South Indian food; for she is no terrorist !! Our Indian Legal system claims fast-track courts now, but even post eleven years,since 1999 murder-undertrials cases are not yet disposed off.Can we muse or proudly claim that our Supreme Court and other courts are upto current year marks to-date and achieved disposal of all pending cases? Our Legal luminaries abound,both as experts on TV,advocacy lawyers,and judges; but is the same true for their instruction carrying subordinates ? Kaliyuga is here to stay.

It was shocking to read your blog on what you feel about VIP getting a similar jail as that of petty criminals.
I sincerely believe our MPs/MLAs are patriotic and they deserve a good cell in prison if they have done something wrong in the service of the nation.
To me patriotism matters. And terrorists the least.
Unfortunately Kaliyuga has come. Maybe Krishna will arrive and cleanse our Bharath. Waiting for Krishna . . .
